I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Erika Carter and Lea Ann Lyster, LLP, at The Harris Law Firm. This comes from my full year of working with them. Erika Carter handled my emergency order and was extremely efficient. During a very stressful time in my life, she moved quickly, kept me informed, and made me feel supported the entire way through. The second part of my case was handled by Lea Ann Lyster, LLP. She took care of my mediation and every motion in between, including a change of custody, child support, sworn financial statements, and helping draft a new parenting plan to clean up older, confusing orders. We were dealing with a very aggressive opposing attorney, and she handled it calmly and professionally. She never pushed her own opinions into my parenting plan unless I specifically asked for her advice, which I really appreciated. I was prepared to go to trial knowing LLPs can now litigate gave me a lot of confidence. You are basically getting someone with over 20 years of experience at a more affordable rate than a traditional attorney, which truly mattered to me. I even signed both Erika Carter and Lea Ann Lyster to my trial so certain parts could be divided, which helped save money. Having that option made a big difference. Overall, I was very happy with The Harris Law Firm. If I needed emergency advice and one of my attorneys was in mediation or at trial, there was always someone available to step in temporarily. I actually had to use that during a very scary moment in my case, and they responded right away. Their response time was impressive. I never waited more than 24 hours, and most of the time it was much quicker. If they were unavailable, their automatic replies clearly explained when I would hear back and who to contact if it was urgent. The billing department was also kind, flexible, and easy to work with. They were understanding and helpful, which meant a lot. I even received occasional check-in calls to make sure I was happy with how everything was going. Whoever created their client service model really thought of everything. I have never worked with lawyers who were this responsive and organized. They were absolutely worth every penny, and I do not have a high income. I am truly grateful for their professionalism, support, and dedication. You are in good hands with The Harris Law Firm.
