Keegan Black is an Attorney at The Harris Law Firm, serving clients throughout Colorado. With experience in juvenile law, specifically dependency and neglect cases, he helps the firm handle complex and high-stakes family law and divorce cases, including those involving children and teenagers. He also assists clients with post-dissolution proceedings, probate matters, protection and restraining orders, and assisted reproductive technology contracts, including egg, sperm, and embryo donor agreements as well as surrogacy gestational carrier agreements.

Before deciding to become an attorney, Keegan explored the fields of hospitality and logistics. On those paths, he sometimes found himself advocating for others and being in charge of creating usable solutions for complex situations. His interest and excellence in handling these tasks made him realize that he was best suited for a legal career, so he set his goal to become a family lawyer. Now that he has joined The Harris Law Firm, Attorney Black is excited that his work can really help real people, which further motivates him to succeed. He also enjoys volunteering with Metro Volunteer Lawyers, a pro bono legal service that provides legal assistance to low-income households in the greater Denver metropolitan area.

For his higher education, Keegan attended Colorado State University and completed a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management with a minor in Global Environmental Sustainability. He earned his J.D. from DU Law (University of Denver Sturm College of Law).

In his spare time outside of the law office, Attorney Keegan Black likes to stay active. Specifically, he can often be found skiing and mountain biking in the beautiful mountainsides that made Colorado famous.
