Isabella Arteche is a Law Clerk at The Harris Law Firm, where she focuses on family law. A graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law, she supports the firm's family law team and works with clients navigating divorce, custody, and related matters.
Isabella's interest in advocacy took shape early. She joined her high school mock trial team and was drawn to litigation, and from that point set her sights on a legal career. Her focus narrowed to family law during her early clerkships, where she worked alongside self-represented litigants and helped them prepare and file family law forms with the court. Hearing clients describe their circumstances in their own words deepened her commitment to guiding families through some of the most difficult moments they face.
Isabella received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara before earning her law degree at the University of San Diego. During a clerkship at Higgs Fletcher & Mack in San Diego, she drafted the pleadings for a client's petition to renew a domestic violence restraining order, which the court granted on a permanent basis. She also devoted time to public service, completing pro bono hours at the Family Law Facilitator's Office in the San Diego County Superior Court and serving as Community Chair and later President of the Family Law Society at USD Law.
Family law is the field Isabella has always been drawn to, and she believes it deserves greater attention than it often receives. She is committed to advancing the practice and to giving each client her full attention, and colleagues know her as an engaged team member who values close working relationships and a collaborative approach to complex cases.
Isabella grew up in Southern California and spent time in Boulder before law school, an experience that drew her to Colorado for good. Outside the office, she is a dedicated film enthusiast and an avid cook who is always after a new recipe or a restaurant worth trying across the Denver area.
