    Cole Pokard

    Cole Pokard is an estate planning attorney at The Harris Law Firm, where he works with individuals and families to create clear, practical plans for the future. His practice focuses on helping clients put the right structures in place to protect their assets, provide for their loved ones, and carry out their wishes with certainty. In addition to estate planning, Cole assists clients with marital agreements, helping couples establish thoughtful arrangements that clarify financial expectations, protect individual and shared assets, and support long-term peace of mind.

    Cole was drawn to the legal profession through a long-standing commitment to helping others. While still in high school, he founded a nonprofit organization, an experience that shaped his interest in service-oriented work and ultimately led him to the practice of law. He chose estate planning because it allows him to provide meaningful, forward-looking guidance that gives clients peace of mind and a sense of control over important life decisions.

    He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the Denver Law Review. Cole received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Business and Data Analytics.

    Cole’s work is defined by a thoughtful, client-centered approach. He focuses on listening closely, identifying priorities, and building plans that reflect each client’s specific circumstances. Estate planning often involves complex and sensitive issues, and Cole works to make the process understandable and manageable. He emphasizes clear communication, thorough preparation, and ongoing collaboration so clients feel informed and confident in the decisions they make.

    Clients value Cole’s accessibility and responsiveness, as well as his ability to translate complex legal concepts into practical guidance. He takes care to ensure that each plan is aligned with a client’s objectives, whether that involves protecting a growing family, planning for long-term care, or structuring the transfer of business or personal assets.

    Outside of his practice, Cole enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors. He is actively involved in his community through the Longmont Twin Peaks Rotary, where he serves as President and as a member of the Board.
