Attorney Jennie Wray is a partner at The Harris Law Firm and one of the firm’s most accomplished and trusted advocates. She focuses her practice on family law and sports and entertainment law, representing individuals, families, and professional and student-athletes in high-stakes matters that require both legal precision and thoughtful guidance. Jennie has been recognized as a Super Lawyers® Rising Star℠ and has been named a Super Lawyer since 2022, an honor reserved for the top attorneys in the state as rated by their peers. She also holds a BV® rating from Martindale-Hubbell® and was nominated for the Denver Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40.

Jennie’s path to the law was shaped early by a strong interest in advocacy and fairness, as well as a desire to give a voice to those navigating complex and emotional legal systems. She earned her law degree from Vermont Law School, where she externed for the Presiding Judge of the New Jersey, Hudson County Superior Court. Following graduation, she served as a law clerk for a Superior Court Judge in Family Law, gaining firsthand insight into judicial decision-making in divorce, custody, and support matters.

Jennie is known for her strong legal analysis, strategic drafting, and ability to manage complex cases with clarity and organization. Clients value her calm demeanor, clear communication style, and practical problem-solving, especially during emotionally charged situations.

In addition to family law, Jennie represents professional athletes, coaches, and influencers in contract negotiation, endorsements and NIL matters, compliance and misconduct issues, licensing and publishing rights, and overall career and brand protection. She also advises families and student-athletes on sports and entertainment law matters, including college recruiting timelines, scholarships, National Letters of Intent, NIL deals, and contracts that protect eligibility and long-term value. She helps clients identify red flags such as vague scholarship promises, pressure to pay recruiting fees, one-sided contracts, NCAA eligibility risks, and social media pitfalls, ensuring opportunities are pursued wisely and securely before anything is signed.

Jennie approaches every client relationship with empathy and active listening, prioritizing transparency and informed decision-making. Her goal is to ensure clients feel heard, respected, and supported while their legal matters are handled with care and precision.
