    Zarije Asani is a family law attorney with The Harris Law Firm in Colorado. She is dedicated to guiding parents and families through some of life’s most challenging transitions. Zarije is especially passionate about family law because these cases directly affect parents and children during deeply vulnerable moments.     Zarije’s path to becoming an attorney is both personal and purposeful. As a child, she witnessed her parents’ divorce and saw firsthand the impact a compassionate, capable attorney could have during a difficult time. That experience inspired her commitment to stand beside clients when they need guidance most. During her undergraduate studies in political science and criminal justice at Loyola University Chicago, she developed a strong interest in the law and its practical applications. Encouraged by mentors and her law professor, she went on to earn her Juris Doctor from New York Law School.

    Zarije is admitted to practice in New York, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Colorado. She brings extensive litigation experience to her work, along with a background in criminal defense. Clients benefit from her clear, direct communication style, strong case management skills, and careful attention to detail, as well as an unwavering dedication to maintaining the utmost ethical standards while working on a case.

    Outside the office, Zarije enjoys sailing, running, watching movies, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs. She is also involved in community education initiatives, including “Know Your Rights” workshops for youth.
