    Meredith wanted a challenging career that would allow her to apply her research and writing skills, as well as her thoughtful and understanding demeanor. Being an attorney proved to be the career that called to her, specifically a family law and divorce attorney with a law firm known for its professionalism and compassion like The Harris Law Firm in Colorado.

    Meredith attended Mary Baldwin College in Virginia, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, cum laude, with a major in political science (with distinction) and Spanish. She earned her J.D. at the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, which she attended on a Herbert Herff Presidential Scholarship. She was a staff writer, editor, and managing editor of The Tennessee Journal of Practice and Procedure.

    After admission to the Tennessee bar, Meredith practiced family law in Memphis, where she focused on litigating contested divorce and parenting matters. Meredith was recognized for her pro bono work with an innovative online program that provided free legal advice to low-income Tennesseans.

    Meredith moved with her family to Colorado and was admitted to the Colorado bar in 2022. She worked with a digital legal education publisher, writing about topics including family law, Indigenous child law, and international family law. She then returned to the practice of law and now specializes in family law.

    Meredith treats her clients with respect and empathy and empowers clients to feel confident in making decisions about their cases.

    Meredith has volunteered within the Cherry Creek School District and Metro Volunteer Lawyers Family Law Court Program. Meredith is a member of the Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association. She likes to spend her free time camping, hiking, or looking for ghost towns in the mountains with her family.
